PRF — Platelet-Rich Fibrin Therapy
Both LocationsPlatelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a second-generation platelet concentrate that represents a significant advancement over the first-generation PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). While PRP uses anticoagulant additives to create a liquid plasma concentrate, PRF is produced without additives — creating a natural fibrin matrix that retains not only platelets but also white blood cells, growth factors, and stem cell-like mesenchymal cells.
This matrix releases growth factors more slowly and sustainably over days to weeks, providing a more prolonged and effective regenerative stimulus than PRP. At Stay Ageless Clinic, PRF is used for under-eye rejuvenation (the tear trough area — where foreign filler carries higher risk), skin quality improvement through micro-injection or micro-needling infusion, hair restoration (scalp injection to stimulate follicle activity), and wound healing acceleration post-treatment.
A small amount of blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge at a lower speed than PRP to preserve the cellular components, and injected or applied within minutes. The process is entirely autologous — zero risk of allergic reaction or foreign body response.
